We started this paranormal team to gather like-minded individuals for the soul purpose to seek out and document the existence of spirits or entities.

Michael and Tiffany have always been interested in the paranormal. In the early 2011, they had a night of relaxing and flipped through the television and they happened upon a paranormal investigation show. Michael and Tiffany were skeptical at first knowing that most reality shows exaggerate the truth to boost their ratings. They began with going to the Woodlawn Cemetery in Santa Monica, CA and did their very first EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) session with just their smart phones. After their first investigation, they listened to their recordings and heard spirits themselves. They continued to go investigate the cemetery a few more times, each time taking in more equipment, more knowledge, and more experience. After listening to hours and hours of recordings and hearing more and more spirits, they were hooked on investigating.

After some time, they gained a lot more experience. They were able to debunk a lot of the things they thought they were experiencing, interpreting what spirits were trying to communicate, clearing what was being communicated, not being nervous during investigations, and figuring out what triggers spirits to communicate and interact with them. They later created their own paranormal group “Dark Blade Paranormal Recon”.

Michael and Tiffany began posting online of their investigations – showing their friends what they have been doing. Soon after, some of their friends wanted to come along and observe. They began going to more and more locations and meeting more and more people who wanted to come along and know more about the group. They later created a group page on Facebook to add members of all ages and to post future investigations for others to come along as well. They have been growing since and hope their business becomes even larger.

Michael and Tiffany have recently expanded their paranormal team to investigate the existence of extraterrestrial life - yes, UFOs and aliens. :)

Tiffany Chon

Tiffany has always been into the paranormal, but never thought of going out and investigating. All that changed when she met Michael and was investigating before she knew it.

Growing up, Tiffany always heard ghost stories, stories about haunted houses, and stories and thoughts of the afterlife – religiously, spiritually, etc. This was what made her curious of the paranormal and wondered what was true and what was false. Most of the people around her always told her that ghosts and such don't exist and that they're all just made up. That answer was never good enough for her, but there wasn't much she could do at the time. Years later, she met the love of her life, Michael, at Electronic Arts – where they both worked. It just so happened that he was also interested in the paranormal and wanted the same answers as she did. She went on her first investigation with Michael and her curiosity was finally answered. She is now the founder, investigator, web tech, location researcher, cleanser, sensitive, psychic medium, audio girl, and editor for their paranormal team, Dark Blade Paranormal Recon.

Outside of paranormal investigating, Tiffany is an animation major, an avid gamer, a fashion design and art graduate, fusion belly dancer for the troupes Babylon Mood and Gypsy Chicks, and a costume and accessory maker. She loves the night, crazy thunderstorms, the moon, hot tea, good cheese, good chocolate, wine, and lots of food! :) She also has a love for anything that's Gothic/Gothic Victorian and Celtic.
